Service Offerings

PPC-1 is Australia’s first carrier neutral cable to offer POP-to-POP connectivity, eliminating the need for expensive backhaul to selected locations. We offer diversity from the few existing routes and provide competitive pricing for greater capacity by connecting Australia to Guam and onward connectivity to Asia and the USA. Product offerings can be purchased as leases, convertible leases, and Indefeasible Rights of Use (IRU) agreements.

If you wish to install active equipment in the Sydney Cable Landing Station, then we have a number of cabinets available. Offering all the advantages of a PIPE Networks Approved Data Centre, co-locating couldn’t be easier. If you wish to co-locate in the Sydney CBD, then this can also be arranged, subject to cabinet availability. Combined with the high levels of redundancy required for the submarine cable and a secure location (with proximity-card controlled 24 × 7 access) and you get a very desirable site to house your sensitive and expensive equipment.

Sydney Metropolitan Access

By utilising PIPE’s extensive domestic fibre networks, PIPE International is able to deliver your capacity directly to your building. With access points in 320 locations across the CBD and inner-metro area, you are no longer tied to an existing Data Centre or PoP site for your service delivery thus providing you with true local access to PPC-1. Built to exacting standards, PIPE Networks’ optical fibre network utilises single mode fibres meeting ITU-T Recommendation G.652.
